| "I capture fine art images of abstraction, life, international uninhabited landscapes, abandoned history, historical elements, unique portraits, and architectural features exclusively on black and white film. I believe that the viewer is prone to enhanced interpretation of a photograph with the absence of color. I hope you enjoy viewing the various black and white photography portfolios, as much as I enjoy making the images." - David Ashman |

| Introducing new work from the series Baltimore: Juxtaposed The city of Baltimore Maryland is undergoing rapid transformation. Historic properties are experiencing both rehabilitation by ambitious homeowners, and demolition by developers to create elegant contemporary residences. This has created controversy between people from different "land usage" schools of thought. Do we reuse the resources we have? Or is it more attractive (from a variety of standpoints) to start with a clean slate? This body of work seeks to capture the past and present of Baltimore in a manner of juxtaposition. |
